It also had issued with the CD player overheating, which they said isnt a safety issue so even if it was sold to me broken they cant help me.They said vehicles break down, some are unreliable and even if they dont start, after someone buys it, the vehicle isnt their issue and they cant help me.
He took the time to let me test drive a few on the lot before I finally chose one in stick shift which is lots of fun. Lobby has comfortable seats, coffee available, Tv to watch, free GoWifi to use while you wait and vending machines.

On the day of the servicing, I arrived early as I stated, and dropped my keys and left my car in front of the service department doors. Our salesperson Illya was amazing. I pleaded with them and showed them their guarantee on their website and told them I would buy another vehicle from them, I am desperate now to not be stuck with a defective vehicle.They would not exchange my vehicle like advertised on their website but they would buy my defective vehicle back as a trade in for a new 2020 Hyundai. At first Colin had no intention of covering any costs stating that in the 6 weeks I had the truck, they wouldn't be able to identify if my driving would have pushed the parts over the usable limits. - I found Ryan's word was completely useless and he was almost zero help in any of this,
My experience in dealing with NorthStar Hyundai on my new vehicle purchase was very good. Adam, the sales professional, was very knowledgeable about the vehicles and all their features. I had leaking windshield washer fluid in the right front. Asked about a loaner car before service was done just in case. In short the sales staff was rude, manipulative, sneaky, deceptive and down right disrespectful. Sales Manager. In fact they were shocked that the dealership would even sell a vehicle with the ball joints in that condition. Sat down the following day with Trevor & he seemed good, though resigned to the fact that we had found a vehicle elsewhere for a much more reasonable price. USELESS staff. I then left the truck at the dealership with Dan Gunderson to have the truck inspected for the suspected issues (by the way, Dan was the best person I had dealt with at this point... very professional). I actually truly think some of the staff need some much needed additional training... nobody seemed to know anything and I had to be the middle man to communicate between departments. Order Tires . I wouldn't use them again. They said one would be provided in case my car had to stay for a day or so.

I was completely at their mercy and I have never felt so powerless.Today I am the owner of a new car with a sticker price of $26,000 car that has a $33,000 loan on it. Michael was the first person to be pro-active, but as I mentioned I still haven't received anything. You will get the parts far cheaper, even though they are the same parts.As far as the service, they did a good job on my SUV. According to their website 2nd time buyers get $500 self referral bonus off the car, I asked for this and they said no. Funny. In the meantime, Michael G. contacted the warranty company and said that they would send a cheque to reimburse me for my warranty purchase (which I still haven't received more than a month later). Actually, stay away from GoAuto completely or risk getting screwed. Your trust is our top concern, so businesses can't pay to alter or remove their reviews. I wouldn't use them again. We got hosed big-time. He was super friendly but not pushy, informative but not pushy, helpful but not pushy - exactly what I wanted. They had me. Wanted to purchase a car from this place, booked a test drive and had a talk with a salesman and a finance manager, but I changed my mind.
Northstar is actually doing everything they can to make our lives hell because we backed out (& rightly so) on a terrible deal with a disgustingly unethical dealership. They only care about their sales, and not their clients. The truck currently has 83,000 km on it and according to the inspection sheets provided to me by NorthStar (completed by Jason Bogs), the Upper-Ball joints were marked as GOOD, the Control arms and axle boots were marked as GOOD, and the truck was marked as having NO LIFT KIT... which makes me wonder if the truck was ever actually inspected at all???
