Joan will be lovingly remembered by her devoted husband of  60 years, Clarence “Sonny” Washington of the home; children, Robert “Bobby” Washington (Teresa) of Fredericksburg, VA, Isabelle “Boo” Goode (Robert) of Spotsylvania, VA, and Wendy Brown of Stafford, VA;  stepson, Clarence “Jr.” Lewis of Upper Marlboro, MD; siblings, Lillian Johns of Clinton, MD, Nellie “Tina” Murphy of Orange County, VA, twin brother James “Big Boy” Daniel (Jane) of Indiantown, VA, and Carl “CD” Daniel (Delphia) of Charlotte, NC; six grandchildren, Carl “Scoot” Goode (Nadja), Tameca Keels (Reggie), Shenita Goode, Danielle Washington, Shaniece Brown and Latreese Brown; three great-grandchildren, Taj Brown, Qitarah Danforth, and Jahmir Thorpe; aunt, Florence Bias of Philadelphia, PA; two sisters-in-law, Jean Fortune (Richard) and Veronica “Bonnie” Cary (Alphonso); and generations of beloved nieces, nephews, cousins and cherished friends.
