Lowering it down might take away from the sustained damage you are doing especially on tough enemies like the Nox, Juggernaut or Ambulas just to name a few. You want especially your toxin based element as high as possible - that leads most people using dual stat mods for toxin and heat for more status chance and then raising pure toxin damage (Infected Clip) before reaching 100% status chance - because of how the spore mechanic works.

When used for a spore Saryn, you want to use it mainly for spreading the spores though - while raising their damage numbers through procing them with somehting that hits a bit heavier. The Ignis Wraith is not only a unique type of weapon but also a powerful one, which makes its Rivens quite pricey.
