Does it count like 3-4 playthroughs? Or they could have them be partially restored or not at all but finishing or restoring them, and Castle Town, and Hyrule Castle for that matter, be part of the game's story or some sidequests.

That was all quite complicated but interesting. For the most ideal results, cancel on the first frame of contact (this can be easily done by buffering with the Bow Selection menu). Even when no audible sound is being made, the game still treats this as constantly whistling; because of this, whistle sprinting will alert nearby enemies and other wildlife of your presence.

@fafonio I think there is a middle ground. @fafonio BotW is possibly my fav game of all time(at least current fav) but I wouldn't object to more in depth dungeons. The music was good but i really missed the traditional overworld and dungeon themes. botw was great and all but there was no reason to go back to it once finihsed, i realy wish they stopped the blood moon after you killed gannon and theny you could go around killing all the badies and not have them come back. In most forums I've seen when people discuss BotW they mention multiple playthroughs, and many, myself included, usually mention being tempted to replay it just by looking at it. I hope they'll have so nice ideas to shake things up and justify returning to it.

I would rather keep playing on the same save file of my first playthrough exploring areas I may have missed and reseeing the areas I already knew and loved. I personally want to do several playtrhoughs just so I can have an account save before each divine beast because I loved them and wish I could replay them at any time.

Some people’s idea of “simple” is a bit different to mine it seems. But at the same time, it would be quite a headache for Nintendo to make a game that is fun with an overpowered Link from the first game while still working with a fresh link. Oh boy nothing ever good happens anytime Link leaves Hyrule. They could include a restored Castle Town, underwater exploration, and restored little villages that were spread out across the map of the original game in ruins. But I really hope Monolith Soft Can craft a whole new world in the sequel. Skyward Sword was a chore to play through, and I spent so much time with BotW on one play through I really had no need to play it again. But I would appreciate if they mixed it a little bit more with the old zelda style, specially the dungeon progression system. With previous Zelda games you had an OST that got you in the whole atmosphere.. totally absent in BOTW IMO. It is just too much investment. Stand shoulders deep into water. It's like he travelled to a parallel dimension where the laws of science were trippy. Start game, go to dungeon, get item to complete dungeon, go to next dungeon, get item to complete that dungeon, linear story, etcetcetc, I was bored with it after TP and SS and I hope they keep the Zelda "formula" in the past and do something different like BotW but maybe not exactly like BotW going forward.

I know open world games are what's in these days but everything doesn't have to be a massive 300 hour marathon of filler. Anyway, I'm worried, but Nintendo is pretty good at surprising people. I would recommend going back and trying it out, the exploration, the wilderness, the shrines, the world.
